The Wildlands Conservancy’s preserve system protects a diverse network of landscapes across the American West, including forests, deserts, mountains, rivers, grasslands, and coastlines. Our model is rooted in fee-title land ownership, allowing us to permanently protect, steward, restore, and care for these lands every day.
By holding and managing land directly, we are able to actively steward these landscapes, restore habitats, rewild native species, safeguard biodiversity, and provide free public access for generations to come.
More than protected open space, our preserves are living landscapes where stewardship, restoration, rewilding, outdoor education, and public access come together. Open to all, free of charge, they offer opportunities for people to experience the wonder of nature while ensuring these places remain wild, connected, and resilient into the future.
